Minnesota Epilepsy Group, PA has an immediate opening for a full/part-time Pediatric Psychologist. We are a multidisciplinary clinic serving patients with epilepsy, and related co-morbid diagnoses including brain tumors, genetic and developmental disorders, and functional neurologic conditions. Common psychological comorbidities in our patient population include depression, anxiety, adjustment disorders, and behavior problems. The successful candidate will provide assessment and treatment services to children and their families in our outpatient clinic and join a team of collegial pediatric neurologists/epileptologists, psychologists, neuropsychologists, and social workers providing inpatient consultation/liaison services on our Epilepsy Monitoring Unit located at Children’s Minnesota Hospital, Minneapolis. Involvement in our multidisciplinary care clinics including New Onset Pediatric Epilepsy (NOPE) and the Transition Age Program (TAP) is also expected.
We are seeking candidates with a clinical concentration in child/adolescent treatment and assessment who have experience treating patients with chronic medical illness. Clinical experience in a hospital setting and work with children suffering neurological impairment are highly desirable. This position requires a doctoral degree in clinical or counseling psychology from an APA/CPA accredited program and successful completion of an APA/CPA accredited internship. . Salary is competitive, with full benefits provided. Fixed Salary not based on production and exempt from overtime.
